Are You a Carer?

A carer is anyone who cares, unpaid, for a friend or family member who due to illness, disability, a mental health problem or an addiction cannot cope without their support.

According to Carers UK research, as many as 1 in 4 adults aged between 45 and 64 are in a caring role.  They are often a family member looking after someone they love at home, or a concerned neighbour or friend.
