The 2019 Virgin Money London Marathon took place on Sunday 28 April 2019. Our runner, Evelyn, had this to say following completing the challenge: 

"After much protesting from my legs and hips along my nemesis birdcage walk, out of the nowhere I spotted that sight for sore eyes...the 385yards to go banner! Thanking Her Majesty for letting us use her front drive, I turned the corner to the home straight and decided to run for it!

I finished in 6hrs 27mins 5seconds...beating my personal best by nearly 20mins! (6hrs 46mins 29secs)
