Leeds Castle donate free tickets for Carers Week!
Young Carers visit Leeds Castle
Thanks to the wonderful people at Leeds Castle, several of our Young Carers and their families had the chance to visit Leeds Castle, as part of Carers Week, providing an opportunity for them to spend quality time together in the grounds.
Carers Week is an annual campaign that raises awareness of the challenges faced by unpaid carers, recognises the vital role they play within families and communities, and helps connect carers with the support available to them.
We’re so thankful to Leeds Castle for this generous gift as part of their Carers Week support, so that our Young Carers could explore the grounds, have a go on the zip wire, feed the ducks and visit the cafe.
We had such a fantastic time letting the children explore and play, they were in control of what they did the whole day and they absolutely loved it. With having so many medical appointments and stays in hospital, it has been so lovely to be able to enjoy a long overdue day out with the kids without having to worry about the financial cost too. We really have appreciated this so so much.
