St Mary of Charity Primary School raise £106!
Young Carers raise over £100!
On Friday 22nd May 2026, pupils at St Mary of Charity Primary School in Faversham, Kent held an own-clothes day to support Imago's Kent Young Carers service, in Faversham.
Young carers, including Dora, Tyler-Jay, Ellie, Link and Frankie (pictured), worked really hard together to organise the event – raising a brilliant £106.63 in total!
Stephanie Ling, the Parent Support Advisor at the school and who helped the children organise the day, said, "all of the pupils were excited to take part and enjoyed wearing their own clothes for the day".
Most importantly, their efforts will help support other young carers across Faversham, showing what a positive difference young people can make when they come together.
Young carers understand better than anyone the challenges of caring for others, and through their fundraising they are not only raising money, but hope, awareness and support for others just like them.
