New Kent Carers Support Service
We are delighted to announce that Kent County Council has awarded Imago the contract to deliver the new Kent Adult Carers Support Service as the West Kent provider
The new service will support unpaid adult carers and those aged 16+ (who are caring for an adult) in Dartford, Gravesham, Swale, Maidstone, Sevenoaks, Tonbridge and Malling, and Tunbridge Wells.
Working in partnership with Crossroads Care Kent, we will deliver a carer-led, person-centred service designed to provide timely, practical support for unpaid carers across West Kent.
Involve Kent has been awarded the contract as the East Kent provider and will be providing support to unpaid carers in the East of the county.
The new Kent Carers Support Service will provide comprehensive support for unpaid carers across the county, helping carers to maintain their wellbeing, build resilience, and access the information, advice and resources they need throughout their caring journey.
We recognise that every caring role is different. Through a flexible, tailored, and responsive approach, we will place carers at the heart of support, ensuring services reflect individual needs and circumstances.
Launching as a phased service from 1 August, we look forward to working alongside carers, partners and communities to deliver a service that values, supports and empowers unpaid carers across West Kent.
