Imago crowned Kent Charity of the Year 2026!

In a glittering ceremony held on Thursday, 3rd September at the Ashford International Hotel, charities from across Kent gathered to celebrate the 2026 Kent Charity Awards.
Hosted by Sangeeta Bhabra, presenter of ITV Meridian, the awards recognise the tireless work of Kent charities and their volunteers and the difference they make to communities across the county.
We’re so thrilled to have been named Kent Charity of the Year!
It was such a privilege to be in a room with so many brilliant charities and inspiring finalists, all working every day to make a difference for people and communities across Kent. To be chosen as the overall winner is a huge honour and means so much to everyone at Imago.
For us, this award is a wonderful reflection of the commitment, compassion and hard work of our brilliant staff and volunteer team, who go above and beyond every day to support some of the most vulnerable in our communities, and help create positive change.
It is also a particularly special moment for our CEO, Caroline Shaw MBE, who has led Imago for the past 25 years and is now in her final year with the charity before her retirement. Her leadership has shaped Imago in so many ways, and we’re delighted to celebrate this achievement with her.
Most importantly, this award belongs to the people who use our services and inspire what we do every day. In the last 12 months we supported over 19,000 children, young people, adults, carers of all ages and families in Kent to improve their health and wellbeing. We are so grateful to them all for sharing their journeys with us.
A huge thank you to the Kent Charity Awards, the judges and sponsors, and to our staff, volunteers, trustees, partners and supporters.
