Easter excitement!
This Easter, our Young Carers teams have been busy delivering exciting respite activities for young carers across Kent, East Sussex and London.
From wildlife and country parks to dockyards and aquariums these fun respite activities provide young carers with a much needed break from the responsibilities of their caring role and the opportunity to make new friends.
Young carers from East Sussex enjoyed a visit to Lewes Fire Station, where the team gave our young carers a fire safety talk and they also had the opportunity to explore a fire engine and had 'hands on' experience of trying out their safety equipment and using the fire hose.
We received lovely feedback after the event:
"J had a fantastic time and found it not just fun but educational, he was really happy and in good spirits when collected, thank you so much for organising and doing these meet ups for the children , both J and I are most grateful"
