Imago wins award for excellence
We are thrilled to announce that Imago has been awarded the Excellence for Carers Award from the Carers Trust.
Carers Trust is a national charity, partnering with local carer organisations across the UK, working to transform the lives of unpaid carers. This award is a Carers Trust quality standard for best practice in services, advice and information for unpaid carers.
During a detailed assessment process in March, which included two days of interviews with 26 Imago staff, trustees, partners and carers, we were assessed against eight key areas to demonstrate our quality of service to carers, including carer identification, carer involvement, signposting and referrals for carers of all ages, outcomes and impact and partnership working.
We are delighted with the excellent feedback, which reflects the incredible, compassionate and personalised support that our staff teams provide for carers of all ages across services in Kent, East Sussex and six London boroughs every day.
What stands out most is the genuine passion and commitment that Imago’s staff bring to their work. Imago is delivering support that is reliable, human and genuinely valued by the people who use it

Across all standards, carers of all ages described feeling listened to, understood and treated with dignity. Feedback showed that contact with Imago frequently reduced stress, improved confidence and enabled people to cope with complex or challenging situations more safely,
“They don’t judge you or make you feel like you’re not coping. They listen, and that makes everything feel a bit lighter.” (carer)
“It’s hard navigating statutory services when you’re tired or stressed. Imago bridge that gap - they make the system feel less scary.” (carer)
We are very proud of our staff, and the work they do every day to ensure that carers of all ages are visible, valued and supported.
Congratulations team Imago!
