Sittingbourne Invicta Rotary Club donate £250 for Young Carers
For young carers, having time away from their caring responsibilities to relax, have fun, and connect with others can make a huge difference to their wellbeing.
That's why Sittingbourne Invicta Rotary Club have kindly donated £250 from its Community Chest Fund to support respite activities for 12 young carers in Sittingbourne. These respite activities will provide young carers with the opportunity to meet other young carers and chat to our trained and supportive staff about their experiences.
A cheque for £250 was presented to Elise Monks, Team Leader for Swale, by President Martin at the Woodstock Club on Monday 1 June.
We are so grateful to Sittingbourne Invicta Rotary Club for recognising the challenges faced by young carers and for helping us continue to provide vital support in the local community.
“The Rotary Club of Sittingbourne Invicta is pleased to support Imago Kent Young Carers through our annual Community Chest in recognition of the valuable support they provide to those that need it in the Sittingbourne area.”

Every donation helps provide practical and emotional support to children and young people with caring responsibilities.
