Carers Poetry & Creative Wellbeing Workshop

Join Matthew McKenzie FRSA BEM, published poet, author and lived-experience carer, for a welcoming creative workshop exploring the experiences of unpaid caring through poetry.

Through simple writing exercises, reflection and conversation, carers will have an opportunity to explore themes such as identity, wellbeing, hope, resilience and the realities of the caring role. No previous poetry or creative writing experience is needed, and there is no pressure to read your work aloud.

Whether you want to write, share, listen or simply connect with other carers, everyone is welcome.
