Training session for a group of adults

Are you looking for charity sector support?

We understand that as a small charity or community group, it can be difficult to know where to turn for guidance and support.

Through one-to-one support tailored to your needs, we can advise on everything from community group set up to developing your organisation and charity governance.

We also offer opportunities to network in your local area with other VCSE organisations, to share knowledge and experiences and make positive connections.

What support will I receive?

Our free support can help your organisation to evolve and improve, develop skills and improve strategies and resilience for long term sustainability.

Support includes:

Upcoming Training

Introduction to AI and Automation with Nick Ellis from Select Technology.

Tuesday 9th September,  10.30-12 pm

Boost your impact, and fast: AI and automation for non-profits

AI is transforming the way organisations work and the voluntary sector is no exception. From automating repetitive admin to writing funding bids in minutes, AI tools can help charities, social enterprises, and community groups do more with less. And you don’t need a big budget or a full tech team to get started.

In this practical, jargon-free session, we’ll explore:

  • Where AI came from and where it’s heading
  • A brief history of AI, its rapid evolution, and what this means for people, processes and privacy.
  • Practical, low-cost tools to save time, reduce manual errors and amplify your team’s impact.
  • See how to draft a funding proposal in under five minutes in a live interactive demo.
  • Tips on how to write AI prompts that deliver the results you need

Social Media with Zoe Cairns

Wednesday 8th October 10.30-12.30

A Simple System to Plan and Create 30 Days of Social Media

Managing social media alongside a busy role doesn’t have to feel overwhelming. In this 60-minute interactive session, Zoe Cairns will share her proven 30-Day Content Workflow, a simple and repeatable process that helps you plan, create and organise a month of content with confidence.

You’ll learn how to:

  • Create consistent, purpose-driven content without starting from scratch each time
  • Use tools, templates and AI to speed up your workflow
  • Make the most of your existing assets and turn them into engaging posts
  • Schedule and plan ahead to save time and reduce last-minute posts

This is a practical, hands-on session with real-time demonstrations, tools you can use straight away, and plenty of time to ask questions as we go.

To book onto either or both sessions, email Wendy for a booking form. The sessions are held on Zoom.
