Join us at Glass Mill Leisure Centre and learn about your carer rights

Carers' Rights Day 2025 is on Thursday, 20 November 2025, with the theme "Know Your Rights, Use Your Rights". The day aims to raise awareness about the rights and entitlements of unpaid carers and empower them to access the support they need. The event will be held at Glass Mill leisure centre, 41 Loampit Vale, London SE13 7FT.

Outline for the day

10:30am – Welcome – Councillor Laura Cunningham
10:45am - Our Voices: Unpaid Carers
11:30am to 12:30pm – Introduction to Adult Safeguarding with Martin Crow (Lewisham Safeguarding Adults Board)
12:30 to 1:30pm – Light Buffet Lunch
1:30 to 2:30pm – Know Your Rights with Steven Keily (Imago)
2:45 to 3.15pm – Meditation Session
3:30pm - Close
