Join us and learn more about your carers rights, and the support available to you in the City of London
We are warmly inviting all unpaid carers who live, work or study in the City of London (commonly known as the Square Mile) to join us for an inspiring information day, where you can chat with service providers, learn about your rights, and meet other unpaid carers.
Information stalls include:
- City Advice
- City Carers Community
- Healthwatch
- City Police and Triage Nurse
- Health and Social Care
- Compassionate Neighbours
and many more...
There will also be a guest speaker from POhWER, a charity who provide advice, support and advocacy, talk about your rights as unpaid carers.
Refreshments, light lunch and free massage provided!
Outline for the day:
10am: Welcome
Tea/coffee, chat to stall holders
11am: Talk on Carers Rights
POhWER
11am-2pm: Free Massage
Community Massage London, please book your timeslot on arrival with an Imago member of staff
12-1pm: Light Lunch
2pm: Finish
The event will be held at St Giles' without Cripplegate Church which is located next to the Barbican estate and City of London School for Girls. You can access the church from Fore Street.
