Activity days for children with a moderate disability and their families
Family Days
Family days bring families with children with a moderate disability aged 5-17 together to create special memories and enjoy time with others who share similar experiences. These are for families living in Canterbury, Dartford, Dover, Folkestone and Hythe, Gravesham, Maidstone, Sevenoaks, Swale, Thanet, Tonbridge and Malling, and Tunbridge Wells.
School Holiday and Saturday activities
Our holiday and Saturday activities give parents and carers a break while providing children and young people with disabilities a safe, welcoming space to have fun and receive the care they need.
These are available for young people aged 9-17 with a moderate disability living in Ashford, Canterbury, Swale, and Thanet.
This service is designed for children with moderate needs. To ensure activities are suitable and we can meet your child’s needs, all children are assessed before accessing activities.
Unfortunately, we are unable to support children who require 1:1 support or those with complex needs.

How we can help:
Family days
Family Days give families and children aged 5-17 the chance to enjoy new experiences together, strengthen relationships and build confidence in a supportive environment.
Activities can include outdoor learning, cooking, heritage visits and creative workshops at places such as Leeds Castle, Quex Park, Wildwood, Historic Dockyard Chatham, Kent Life and local parks and beaches, and we work with families to plan exciting days that help children try new things and feel proud of what they can achieve.
Holiday clubs
For children aged 9-17 with a moderate disability. Holiday Clubs provide fun, structured activities during the school holidays where disabled children and young people can make friends, try new activities and build confidence.
They’re all about having adventures, learning new skills and enjoying time together in a safe and supportive setting
Saturday Clubs
Saturday Clubs offer monthly activities for young people with a moderate disability aged 13–17 to build confidence, develop life skills and form friendships.
Through fun and challenging activities, our experienced staff support teamwork, communication, planning, decision-making and problem solving while helping young people feel comfortable and included in community spaces
Eligibility to access activities is assessed using Imago’s Dependency Rating Tool

Thank you for a brilliant day, these days mean so much to us as a family. The support provided allows us quality time while providing a safe environment for my son. This allows my other child the opportunity to be carefree for the day. The staff are friendly and ready to take part in activities and make us feel comfortable. I look forward to future events with Imago.
