The Young Carers got to enjoy some kayaking and then split into two groups on the Mega SUPs for even more fun. It was brilliant watching everyone having a whale of a time as they splashed about on…and in…the water J while many of the families stayed riverside, enjoying a picnic and having a chat with Helen, one of our East Sussex Support Coordinators.
One parent summed up the afternoon really well, “.. the children loved meeting other young carers and getting involved in the activities. They said the instructors were all really nice and helped them gain more and more confidence the more they were on the water...It was a really great day! Thank you”
