The contract, awarded by Havering Council, is designed to help young carers aged 5-18yrs who need support to reach their full potential.
We are already working with over 200 young carers in Havering, and this will allow us to continue this vital work, supporting young people with workshops, 1-1 support, respite activities, signposting, and peer support. We will work directly with schools in the borough to support pupils who are young carers to gain the maximum benefit from their education, raising the profile of young carers and their experiences in the wider school community.
