Are you ready to jump in?

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Retail Assistant to join the team at our popular charity shop in the heart of Tunbridge Wells. The shop has a great atmosphere, and our staff and volunteers pride themselves on offering a welcoming environment and excellent customer service.

As a member of the core shop team, you will help plan, deliver and oversee the daily activities of the shop, including rotas, donations, stock management and preparation, merchandising and visual display, promotional events and online sales. The role requires a good standard of written work and basic maths as you’ll be responsible for internal and external communications, as well as the financial activities associated with shop work.

The charity shop income directly helps the people Imago works with… Young Carers, disabled children, older people, Adult Carers and adults with complex needs. You’ll help promote these activities by engaging with customers and donors.

This role is part-time (21 hours), working across Monday to Friday and alternate Saturdays, with a competitive salary and excellent benefits. We’re looking for someone who is self-motivated, has excellent communication and organisational skills, and ideally with experience of mentoring colleagues or volunteers. Retail experience would be an advantage.

It’s quite a physical job and you will be on your feet much of the day. You should be fit to move donations and stock. It’s a great way to achieve your daily step count!

Don’t wait… apply today.
